๐Ÿ“ƒ During the webinar many updates were covered by the organizers. In particular, changes were made in ๐ˆ๐๐” - ๐€ ๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐‚๐‘ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐€ ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ž ๐๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ!

Update 1

1. IBU - Updates from a new version of the PCR part A rule:

- How Biogas usage and green electricity should be calculated.
- Clearer guidelines for Biogenic Carbon - How CO2 emissions released in EoL and Module D shall be accounted and declared.
- Clarifying distinction between secondary fuels (renewable/non-renewable) and secondary materials.

2. IBU - Updates from a new version of the PCR part A rule:
- Elaboration of different cases of modelling and declaring energetic processing of waste:
- Thermal waste processing.
- Energy recovery from waste.
- Energy use as a secondary fuel.

3. IBU - Updates from a new version of the PCR part A rule:
- How residual mix should be used (unless there is a justification).
- Global Warming Potential (GWP) should be provided for the electricity mix balanced.
- Guidelines for the guarantee of Origin (GO) of electricity.
- When and how to calculate and use EU mix and regional mix.

4. IBU - Updates from a new version of the PCR part A rule:
- In case of packaging is declared in A3 how Module A5 shall be included.
- If A5 is not declared, the analysed packaging impact shall be quantified and given as technical scenario information.
- How biogenic carbon in packaging materials should be assessed.

5. IBU - Updates from a new version of the PCR part A rule:
- Attempts to give more guidelines on how to decide on allocation and cut-off in waste processing.
- More explanation on the scenarios modelling for basic and complex products. Elaboration in Module D on the net flows calculation.
- IBU stance on the mass balance approach. Guidelines for the data quality assessment for primary and generic data. Rules for reusable products.
